Hashers and Harriettes, this cuming Saturday is the first Volunteer Workday of the new year. We will be weeding out Himalayan Blackberry, English Ivy and French Broom. If that list doesn’t qualify as invasive species, nothing will. Meet at the main parking lot for the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater in John McLaren Park (22 John Shelley Drive). The workday is from 10:00AM until Noon. Wear long pants and long sleeves (that you don’t mind getting dirty). SF Park and Rec will provide tools and gloves, water and snacks. SFH3 and Hand Pump will provide BEER!!! Hand Pump also guarantees that it won’t rain (at least not enough to cancel the workday). RSVP to Hand Pump.
