Welcome Hasher!

We are the San Francisco Hash House Harriers, a drinking club with a running problem. We have been regularly terrorizing tourists and traipsing trails since 1982, and have no intention of cooling our heels anytime soon.

We meet rain or shine on Monday nights at 6:15 pm for a bit of running and beer, so lace up those old running shoes and join us! (The actual running starts between 6:30 pm and 6:45 pm.)

Check the Hareline for future runs and don't miss our funtastic BAY 2 BLACKOUT event cumming up!

New to hashing? Click here for more information and what to expect.

If you find yourself hooked and start cumming to (at?) the hash on a regular basis, you might find the SFH3 app useful. It gives you easy access to the runs while on the go and best of all, it's free!

Dues are due! Sign up here to pay the SFH3 dues for the 2025 spring season. Six months of hashing and as much beer as you can drink for a measly $110 or $4.25/run. That's 47% off — what a bargain!

Hand Pump Workday

Please note the slight change in the start location to Wilde at Ervine.

This is our regular monthly (first Saturday) Volunteer Workday in John McLaren Park. It is springtime, so its time to pull wild radish from the grasslands between Mansell St. and our start at the bottom of the hill along Ervine St. We are starting at the bottom of the hill, so that we are finishing with a walk down to the BEER. The work is relatively easy compared to Blackberry eradication, but the slopes are slippery. Wear shoes/boots with good grip. Dress in layers, there's little or no shade. Long sleeves and pants are not necessary but are a good idea. There's no PO in the grasslands but there are plenty of plants that one can have an itchy reaction to. SF Rec and Park will provide tools and gloves, water and post-work snacks. The snacks are from Arizmendi Bakery and are outstanding. SFH3 will provide more snacks and BEER. No trail will be marked to the worksite, since you should be able to see the volunteer crew by just looking up the hill. I will provide rides from the Glen Park BART Station to the start. Contact me for details.
